I am an educator, researcher, and activist. I study and teach about language, power, and social change. I am a Lecturer in the Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences program and a fellow in the Initiative for Community Based Learning and Research at UW Bothell where I teach in Media & Communication Studies, Society, Ethics & Human Behavior, the Center for University Studies and Programs, and the Master in Arts and Cultural Studies. I have a PhD in Communication from the University of Washington
